Scholarship 2026

The PFLAG Council of Northern Illinois 2026 Scholarship Program is an unrestricted $2500 scholarship for Illinois LGBTQ+ undergraduate, graduate, and continuing students who are between 17 and 28 years old. Its purpose is to encourage and support those who identify as LGBTQ+ to pursue their educational and career goals.

IMPORTANT DATES

  • Application opens on February 1, 2026
  • Application closes April 15, 2026
  • Scholarship winners will be announced May 15, 2026

Our corporate donor has not yet confirmed funding for the scholarship program this year. We remain hopeful that funding will be approved, but PCNI also has a backup plan to support the program using its reserves if no donation is received.
