Membership and Donations

While you are always welcome at all PFLAG meetings and will be supported regardless of whether you are a member, paying membership dues helps PFLAG continue its great work through your contribution.

Use the links below to fully support PFLAG’s mission and make your voice count! We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and your payments are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

Please consider making a donation to PCNI or any of our chapters in addition to your membership. Thank you for your generosity!

Your tax-deductible payment to PFLAG:

Supports PFLAG’s legislative advocacy at the state and national level
Supports community and national outreach efforts in schools, libraries, businesses, etc.
Supports participation in community PRIDE events, including the Chicago Pride Parade
Operates and supports our helpline
Maintains our website and the publication of our Open Doors newsletter
Covers the printing costs of brochures and educational materials
Supports the establishment and growth of strong PFLAG chapters in our area
Provides liability insurance to the chapters supported by the PFLAG Council of Northern Illinois

Membership runs from October 1st to September 30th of the following year. At this time we are not offering partial-year memberships.

Subscription to our Open Doors newsletter
Subscription to PFLAG National’s newsletters

Membership payments received in July, August, and September apply to the remainder of the current membership year and the next membership year through September 30th of the following year.
